Family Time

Our weekend was great. Although it was rainy and got a lot colder we spent a lot of quality family time together.

Anderson loves his daddy. I'm sad this picture came out blurry but it's so hard to capture a picture of him looking at the camera so I'm posting it anyway. :)

We even made it to the outlets yesterday. When Anderson started to get fussy and tired of sitting in his stroller we broke out the Baby Bjorn. He LOVED it! We didn't have the camera so Dan snapped a shot of us with his phone. Isn't he the cutest?

7 Months Old!

Yesterday Anderson turned 7 months old. My baby boy is getting so big! He's sitting all by himself now without toppling and is starting to reach for everything. He doesn't show signs of crawling yet but I know once it happens we're not going to be able to take our eyes of of him.
Here are some pictures of our weekend. We had beautiful weather and had so much fun being out and about all weekend.

Watching the dogs play at the park

On a walk by the water

7 months old!
We bought a cupcake to celebrate :) He wants to
smash it so bad. I have to take the picture
quickly and then snatch it away!

The sweetest boy ever!

We love you so much Anderson! Happy 7 months!

Spring is Here!

We've really been enjoying the weather the past few days. Yesterday we went to the park and Anderson loved the swing! I still can't believe he's going to be 7 months old on Sunday. The past month I've seen him change so much and I love this age the best right now. Although I know it's going to keep getting better and better I just love seeing his little personality start to emerge. :)

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Today was a BEAUTIFUL day in Hoboken. We took full advantage of the weather and went on two long walks and went to Frank Sinatra lawn to read books and get fresh air.

Our little leprechaun!
View of the city from where we were sitting
Anderson loved the view! He couldn't stop looking at it.

Reading books

He won't look at the camera anymore. I need to book a session with a photographer soon!
We met Dan after work and went out to dinner. As you can see, he does not want to sit still long enough for a picture! Look at those lips protesting. :)
Getting ready for bed. He loves it when his daddy comes home at the end of the day. :)

Munchkin Food Teether

This is the best invention ever. It can keep Anderson entertained for a long time and I don't have to worry about him choking. Just stick a piece of fruit or vegetable inside and snap it shut. Here's a video of him enjoying a banana. He's such a mess. :)

Trip to Virginia

The past week Anderson and I have been visiting family in Virginia. As always it's always nice to go home and this time we were actually able to get out! Last time we went home to visit family we were dealing with a blizzard. We did so much in one week and it flew by!

My parents bought Anderson a crib and Dan spent Friday night after dinner putting it together. Here is what the finished product looks like:
We went out to eat...a lot! Anderson can't seem to sit still long enough for a picture.

We did lots of shopping. It was gorgeous this day in Georgetown.

Trying on Baby Dedication day outfits in the Lord & Taylor dressing room. Dan thought I was joking when I showed him the pictures. :)

The only downside of the entire trip was our road trip back home. We met Dan halfway in Wilmington, DE at a restaurant. On our way back from there to Hoboken we got caught in a 2 hour stand still back up on the NJ turnpike! Part of a bridge collapsed and it took over two hours to clean it up. Thank God Anderson is such a good baby and that I had enough food/water to get us through the delay. We made it home after a long day and yesterday was spent cleaning and relaxing after such a busy week. We can't wait to go back for Anderson's baby dedication ceremony which is less than a month away!

Sitting and Green Eyes

I can now leave Anderson sitting alone for a few seconds. He can sit for a minute or two but eventually loses his balance and topples over. It scares me to leave him alone but I captured this picture of him while he was staring at his Live Aquarium. Nana and Grumpy got him this aquarium for Christmas and he loves it!

On another note we've noticed that Anderson's eyes are turning green! I'm not sure if they're going to continue to change but they look green to me in pictures. I asked the nurse and doctor at his 6 month check up what color they thought his eyes were and they couldn't say. Hazel? Greenish-blue? Wonder if they will stay this way or continue to change. What color will they turn next?

Sunday Brunch

Yesterday Geoff and Emily came to visit us in Hoboken. It was so nice to see them and go out for Sunday brunch. I realized afterwards that I didn't take any pictures of them with Anderson. I did manage to take one of my two boys though in their navy outfits.

Love them!

Round Four

I believe this is the fourth time we have had a huge snow storm this winter. This time it was the fourth largest storm in NYC history. I'm over the snow! Couldn't be more ready for spring to arrive.
Dan was away on business when the snow hit. I had cabin fever the second day so Anderson and I ventured out to get lunch. It was a mess!

All bundled and ready to go in the carrier. I think Anderson was also glad to get out of the apartment. :)
