Cape Cod Thanksgiving!

We had such a good time over Thanksgiving holiday in Cape Cod! Here are a few pictures of Anderson with Foley. It was the first time in a long time he'd been around a baby so I was so surprised to see how gentle he was and how he wanted to hand her toys. We only had to watch out when he was trying to hand her a big truck!

Anderson and Caroline! Caroline was a big help and loved playing with Anderson and holding Foley. I still can't believe she is 8 years old!
Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures. Chasing after a toddler has changed things drastically in the past few weeks! Hopefully I'll post more soon when Grumpy sends me some!

NJ Children's Museum

On Saturday we headed to Paramus to have a family afternoon at the NJ Children's Museum. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot we both looked at each other and laughed. Not what we expected on the outside!
After paying the overpriced $10 a person admission we ended up being pleasantly surprised! There was so much for Anderson to do. He had so much fun exploring the different hands on exhibits.
Here are a few pictures from our Saturday!

He is obsessed with trains.
Arts and Crafts! He colored and made a turkey.
Riding the pony!
I now know what to get him for Christmas. A vacuum or broom!
I can't believe Anderson is now 15 months old now! This past month he has grown so much. He is starting to talk and I love it! I will have to post soon on all his stats from this past month!

Pet A Pet Farm

On one of our last trips to Fairfax we went to Reston's petting zoo. Anderson had so much fun feeding the goats and seeing all the other animals. Although I didn't take many pictures here are a few of the goats and sheep. Anderson said "baaaa" the entire time we were in the barn.

Say Cheese!

A forced smile :)

Much better!

Cookies and Milk

My mom taught Anderson a very important skill while we were visiting. How to properly eat cookies and milk. :)

14 Months Old

Trick or Treat! Anderson had so much fun on Halloween!

Anderson you are 14 1/2 months old! You are such a big boy and are so smart! This past month has been a big one developmentally for you. You have now gone from a walker to a runner! I can't keep up most days. We were in Barnes and Noble earlier today and I turned my head and the next second you were gone!

- You weigh 25 lbs and are in 18-24 month clothes.

- You have lots of teeth coming in. Today I counted about 16 once they all come through. You have been a big drooler the past few days.

- You started saying Mama this week! I realized that you were getting confused between Mommy and Daddy and were combining the two words. Mama seems to be a lot easier for you to say. You say Daddy clearly though.

- Other words you say are: si, pan, Ella, bye, CC (Cathy), baba (bubbles), grunts all done, you sign more, agua, nana (banana and when I point to Nana's picture), papa. I only talk to you in spanish so you definitely understand more spanish than english!

- You know all your animal sounds in spanish and you also know the letter A. I am trying to teach you the colors right now.
- You love Elmo! You call him Nene.

- You are a BIG eater. You love all types of food and you never seem to turn anything down. You love your juice that I make every morning. A few other favorites are toast and cream cheese, banana, yogurt, and vegetables and rice. You have also started to love cereal with milk.

- You love it when your daddy comes home. Every night he rings the buzzer outside and you know right away it's him. Today when we walked to the elevator you stood outside it stomping your feet and squealing waiting for it to open. You get so excited to see him and I love watching you!

- Your intoeing has gotten a little worse since you started walking but the doctor says it will correct itself on it's own. He said it can take up to 6 years!

One of my favorite parts of the day is sitting in your rocking chair and reading to you. You love books, nursery rhymes, and songs. Your favorite song is the spanish version of The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

I will post more pictures once I get my laptop back...hopefully sometime soon!
