Memorial Day Weekend

We had perfect weather all weekend. Today was a little hot, but Anderson cooled off by running in the sprinklers at the park. He is going to love them all summer!

We had a busy and fun filled weekend. We were able to see our friends yesterday and BBQ, went into the city today and walked to SOHO and did some shopping, and just spent a lot of time outdoors on the pier and park.

Kara and Brian's uncle stopped by with his dog, Moseley, while we were visiting. Anderson was obsessed! It is so adorable to watch him with dogs. At one point he was on his knees giving Moseley a kiss on his mouth!

He was so proud walking the dog in their backyard.
I love this picture of Anderson and Kara. He had so much fun at their home. I think he loved having a yard to run around in!

Dan took this video today at the park. The video should be titled, scaring away the boys and flirting with the girls. FYI, he screams a lot in this video - and it's a scream I've never even heard before! Very scary - you've been warned. :)

Summer!

Summer is here! Not officially until June 21st but Memorial Day always signifies the start of summer to me.

The weather the past few days has been perfect! 80 degrees and sunny and we've been taking full advantage. This past week we've enjoyed countless trips to the park, walks along the water, and fun on the pier with Anderson's new ball.

Such a big boy!
His favorite trick...sliding down on his tummy :)
Peek a boo!

Anderson had so much fun outdoors today. So happy we'll have this weather all weekend!

Flying a Kite!

Nana gave us a kite over Easter and yesterday we decided to go fly it at Pier A in Hoboken. Anderson didn't quite understand the concept he kept saying "no, no no!" when Dan was bringing the kite up into the air. He thought it was flying away! He was so cute running around chasing his Daddy and the kite though.

Anderson refused to leave the apartment without the box of Wheat Thins. He's very stubborn - just like Daddy!

Helping Daddy get the kite ready

And he's off!

Whenever I'm out with Anderson, I get a lot of comments on his hair. I explain it's from his Daddy. Saturday night I had someone ask me if I was the babysitter!

Thank you Nana for the fun gift! It was the perfect day for kite flying. Chilly and windy so we had the lawn to ourselves :) We are looking forward to doing it again!

Visiting Foley

Last Saturday we headed into the city to visit with Foley. She has gotten so big and is just so sweet! Anderson had so much fun playing with his cousin. Here are a few pictures we took.

Going in for a kiss :)

One Picture

On May 2nd Anderson and I drove down to VA for a week and a half. The entire time we were there I only managed to get one picture.

Quality over quantity. I love the one picture I took of Anderson and Ello.

Bailemos!

This is Anderson in action during his Bailemos (Let's Dance) class. The class description is Dancing with the Stars meets Dora the Explorer :) He loves this class because the teacher speaks Spanish most of the time. And as we all know, my son loves to dance! He's in the blue striped shirt in the video.

Turtle Back Zoo

A few weeks ago we went to Turtle Back Zoo for the morning. Anderson's favorite part of the zoo was the carousel :)

We saw bears

Chickens

Horses

Anderson's second favorite part was riding the "choo choo". He loves trains!
We didn't take many pictures, but we had a fun family outing. Hope to go back again this summer!

Hoboken Music and Arts Festival

Today was Hoboken's Music and Arts Festival. It was a beautiful day and we walked around to enjoy all the street vendors, festival food, and music. When the band came on Anderson decided it was time to dance. He just LOVES live music!
