I can't believe you are 22 months old. In two short months we will be celebrating your 2nd birthday! Your Daddy and I have already been talking about your party and what theme you would love. These days you love trains, police cars, fire engines, planes, cars, motorcycles - a transportation party perhaps?!
You are talking up a storm these days (mostly in Spanish) and love pointing everything out. You have started putting two or three words together. You now tell me what you want to do. Usually it involves "el parque", going to the park! You have graduated from the "tot lot" to the big kid park. Last week when we were there you were trying to play ball with two older kids probably around 5 years old. One of them asked you what your name was and my jaw dropped when you looked at him and said "Andy". I did not have to prompt you, you just went ahead and said it proudly all on your own. I always ask you your name in Spanish so I was shocked that you knew what he was asking you! You refer to yourself as Andy all the time now. Although we call you Anderson, you still seem to prefer Andy since it is easy to say. I wonder if this nickname will stick!
You still have a very healthy appetite and will try almost anything. You love your milk, sweet potato, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, nuggets, mac n cheese, broccoli with cheese and rice, and soup just to name a few things. You also have a BIG sweet tooth. Just like Mommy you appreciate the sweet treats I give you on occasion. You especially love ice cream. You've called it Elmo for a while now (I guess helado and Elmo sound kind of similar?!) but are now starting to say helado.
I can't wait to see you as a big brother. You love other kids so much and you already point to my tummy all the time and say baby. I know you are going to love your little brother or sister so much.
