October at a Glance

October was a busy month for us! Between traveling to Florida, down to Virginia and everything in between here are pictures I've taken throughout this busy month.

Still sleeping great in his toddler bed!
Barnes and Noble outings are still one of our favorite things to do on rainy days
As well as trips to the mall! Who knew this could provide so much entertainment?

I never thought I'd let Anderson ride the cars at the mall...then I realized how happy it makes him :)
Fun play date of painting pumpkins with Gavin
Hard at work

We broke out the kite Nana gave us

Got his hair cut
This salon is in our building. Anderson loves getting his haircut and asks to go all the time! What little boy wouldn't want to sit in a car while watching cartoons and then get a lollipop at the end?
We went to Westport, CT to visit Geoff and Emily's new home
Playing with Charlie!
Taking a "tubby" in Geoff and Emily's bathroom. This was before Uncle Geoff squirted him in the face by turning on the jets (it was an accident). Tubby was over shortly after the incident!
All wrapped up in Foley's towel :)
Watching the tree come down at Ello & Ella's in Virginia

He could have watched this all day!
Cathy threw the nicest baby shower!

Out to dinner to celebrate Ello's birthday!
Halloween! Carving our pumpkin
Trick or treating

He loved being Tom Brady!
Looking forward to all the fun and exciting things November will bring!

CC Visit and Alstede Farms

Friday afternoon we went to pick up Cathy at Newark Penn Station. She had a workshop in Manhattan and stayed with us for the weekend. Although it was a short visit and we didn't see her as much as we would have liked it was so nice to have her visit!

This picture makes me laugh. It was so windy this weekend!
Anderson was so happy to have his aunt visiting!

On Saturday we drove an hour away to Chester, NJ to spend the morning at Alstede Farms. We had so much fun picking pumpkins, going on hay rides, and seeing all the animals. Anderson had the best day and hasn't stopped talking about the pumpkin patch.

Soooo excited to be on a hay ride taking us to go pick pumpkins.

We made it! He loved seeing all the pumpkins there were to choose from.

Found one!

After picking pumpkins we went to go pet some farm animals

Then on a wagon ride
And finally we ended the morning with a pony ride

Anderson had so much fun and unfortunately got sick later on that night. He rarely gets sick and with a really high fever that wasn't going down we took him to the doctor today to find out he has strep throat. He is doing much better after the motrin and amoxicillin we gave him but it was still scary to have his fever as high as 103.5 today. So thankful we figured out what was wrong with him and hopefully he'll be back to his old self in no time!

St. Pete Family Vacation

On September 29th we flew down to Tampa to spend five days in St. Petersburg. When we found out Jenn and Cam would be getting married in Florida we decided to make a mini vacation out of it.

This was Anderson's first flight with his very own seat. We bought a pair of kid head phones before we left, and he had so much fun playing with all the new apps on the ipad. He did so well and was very well behaved!

Saturday, October 1st

We spent Saturday morning on the beach. We were so lucky to have perfect weather throughout our entire trip!

Saturday afternoon Dan and I drove to Winter Park for Jenn and Cam's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun celebrating with everyone!

Sunday, October 2nd

We spent Sunday morning at the beach and afternoon at the pool. At night we went to downtown St. Petersburg and had dinner at Bella Brava. Afterwards we went on a carriage ride and had ice cream. It was a perfect day!

Bella Brava
I realized after I dressed Anderson that him and Dan were twins :)

Beautiful night!
Anderson wanted to go see the horses while we were buying ice cream. Once he was on the carriage he would not get off. So Ello ended up treating us to a carriage ride around downtown St. Pete. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Obsessed with "Duke" the horse

Tuesday, October 4th

The Good Times for dinner on our last night
Afterwards we went to The Don Cesar for ice cream and to watch the sunset.
The Don Cesar

I really can't believe that was our last vacation with only one child! Next time we go to Florida we'll have 2 little ones to chase after. It was a perfect trip and I'm so happy we were able to get away one last time. The weather was gorgeous every day. We arrived to chilly fall weather back in Hoboken. It made me realize that fall is now really here and there are only 9 more weeks till our baby girl arrives!
