Our Move in Pictures

Packing up
Empty apartment
New car

Playing in the hotel
Annabel is not sure what's going on with the craziness of this week!
Low point: Anderson's tummy hurt so bad and he fell asleep on the bathroom floor
Having fun at Streets at Southpoint while Dan was working
Lots of hotel breakfasts
Moving is exhausting!

We made it! Move in day has arrived

Goodbye Hoboken

I can't believe that after over 4 years we are leaving the city. When Dan quit his job right after we got married and then found a job in Manhattan I thought I would never be able to do it. I remember my first few weeks exploring the city so overwhelmed and scared for what lay ahead of me. After a year of living in Manhattan and loving it we decided we needed more space and a more affordable option to start our family. I was 6 months pregnant with Anderson when we moved to Hoboken and we never regretted the decision. I love Hoboken so much and look forward to going back to visit with both Anderson and Annabel to show them where our little family began.
There are way too many things I will miss about Hoboken to list them all here. I know Anderson will miss our multiple daily walks, the many parks, the pier, and the choo choo train we used to take into the city.
Anderson's favorite park (Church Square Park)
I will miss how easy city living was with 2 kids. Yes, I think city living is actually a little easier with 2 kids! You don't have to lug them in and out of car seats and drive anywhere to get what you need. Just walk out the door with the stroller and you have the grocery store, coffee shop, and park right there in front of you.

I am so thankful we had the experience of city living and that I was able to enjoy Hoboken so much. I also got to know the city pretty well and look forward to going back to visit often. Although it is a bittersweet feeling knowing that this chapter in our lives is over I am very excited for Charlotte and all that it has to offer. We are ready for a house, a yard, and settling down. So although I am sad, I am very excited for what our future holds in NC!

Peter Pan

Anderson was supposed to be Peter Pan for Halloween but refused to wear the costume back then. Look what we found cleaning out the closet today? He loved wearing it! And I don't think he could look any cuter :)

I also found this picture of Foley and Anderson from Super Bowl Sunday. They loved playing together and were just so sweet together. We are going to miss them so much when we move!

2 Months Old!

Sweet Annabel you are 2 months old! You are getting over your fussy/colicky stage. Each day gets better! All the books said fussiness peaks between 6-8 weeks and that it gets progressively better after 8 weeks so I'm crossing my fingers you are a text book case for the 6-8 week fussies. I also have to figure in that you were born 2 weeks early since it is based on your estimated due date, not when you were born.

You are starting to develop more of a schedule. You wake up anywhere between 7-8 in the morning and still sleep a ton throughout the day. During your awake time you love to take in everything around you and are starting to coo and find your voice. You have also started smiling which is my favorite thing to see!

You have graduated from 0-3 month clothes to 3-6 month clothes. You wear 6 month pjs in Carters. You are in size 2 diapers. At your 2 month appointment you weighed 13 lbs 8 oz which is the 99.7 percentile! You were also over 23 inches. You are getting so big!

You are an amazing sleeper at night. You have never once cried in the middle of the night! You wake up to eat and go right back to sleep. You are waking up twice during the night to eat.

Nursing is still going great and I'll continue doing it as long as we're both happy. At this point with Anderson I started to supplement with formula but you are gaining weight and don't seem to need any more than I'm producing for you.

I love you to pieces!
If you ever get fussy, your Daddy always knows how to calm you down
Your brother is still so in love with you! I know you two are going to be inseparable
We love you so much Annabel! Happy 2 months!
