Afternoon at the Park

Yesterday we walked to the park down the street to meet with friends 

Annabel and Amelia are so cute together. Amelia is 10 months old

We've been so lucky to meet such great friends. I know Anderson will be thrilled to meet even more new ones when he starts school on Tuesday!

Anderson is Three!

Last night when I was tucking Anderson in for bed I told him that this was the last night I'd be putting him to bed as a two year old. I hugged him tight knowing that three just sounds so much more big boy than two.

 After tucking him in I baked him a cake with sprinkles and placed a big number three candle on top. I knew he would see it this morning and love it. 

I knew he would love it but he loved it. He insisted on taking it to story time with us to show everyone how old he was. So proud to be three. 

 

Of course the candle had to come with us to his birthday party. Also wearing his new number three shirt that I foresee quickly becoming a favorite.

Anderson had the best day. He was fast asleep by seven and I'm sure he's dreaming of all the fun he had, his new big boy bike, and the "captain hook ship" that he's been wanting forever that's finally his.

Serendipity

While we were visiting Virginia we went to Georgetown one day for lunch at Serendipity  

Of course we had to get the frozen hot chocolate. Unfortunately it's not as good as the one in NYC but it was still a fun lunch date with Ella and CC! 

First time in a restaurant high chair and loving it! 

Looking forward to many more lunch dates with this sweet girl
