Crowder's Mountain

On our way to Crowder's Mountain. We were all excited for our first hiking adventure as a family!

Right before starting on the trail

Group shot before it got tough!

This is what Dan had to do when the hike got to be too much for Annabel.

Almost there! At this point I didn't think we were going to make it to the top. Dan thought we were crazy for even trying but I was determined to see the view! I should also say that Dan and I could have done it without a problem. It was having a 3 and 5 year old with us that made it a little more challenging. Our motto throughout the hike when we heard whining was we can do hard things

We made it! Such a feeling of accomplishment to get to the top of the mountain.

 Enjoying the beautiful view

Overall it was a great day on Crowder's!

Disney World 2015

In April we drove down to Florida for Spring Break and spent 2 days in Disney again!

We arrived at the Caribbean Beach Resort and the kids were in heaven with the water slide and pool.

MAGIC KINGDOM

Our goal was to get to the park both days right at 7am when Magic Hours started. It was so nice and quiet at that time and we were able to take advantage and go on a lot of rides with no line.

 Riding their favorite Dumbo ride
Anderson's souvenir this trip was a Goofy hat :)

Dan didn't want to ride the teacup ride but we made him! The kids loved it. Dan's face looks happy before we started spinning that cup ;)

Waiting in line for the speedway. This is another favorite. Anderson loves sitting in that race car!

A selfie with Annabel before we started racing around the track.

So excited to be driving a car!

Anderson didn't want to go in and meet Ariel but Annabel sure did!

We left the park around 2 and Annabel fell asleep on the bus ride back to the room.

The nap gave her a second wind and we returned to Magic Kingdom for more fun that night! Here she is on the people mover showing off her Minnie ears. Did we mention it was Easter?! We celebrated at home before we left for Disney because knew with the schedule it would be hard to do in the hotel.

 ANIMAL KINGDOM

 Waiting to watch a Bug's Life in 3D :)

Standing in front of the Tree of Life

About to get on the Animal Safari

ST. PETERSBURG
After 3 days in Disney we drove to St. Petersburg for the rest of the week.

A favorite activity after dinner is to go to the Don Cesar Hotel and get ice-cream at Uncle Andy's ice cream parlor and go watch the beautiful sunset on the beach. We had a wonderful vacation and the only downside was the traffic on the drive home! We left at 9 in the morning and didn't get home till 10:30 at night. But the trip was worth it and we know we made many special memories.

Preschool Graduate

It's hard to believe but Anderson had his last day of preschool on Thursday. The TK (transitional Kindergarten) class each went up and got their certificate of completion from the teachers. We had the best year with Anderson meeting wonderful friends and we know he is more than ready for Kindergarten in August!
On the left is Anderson's very first day of preschool. He had just turned 3!

Anderson with Ms. Simon and Mrs. Gage. He loved TK!
