One Year!

January 3rd marked one year since I started this blog! The last post was also my 100th! Kind of crazy when I really thought I wasn't going to be able to keep my resolution last year of keeping up with it. But now that I have I'm so happy I have this blog to show Anderson one day.

This past weekend while I was cleaning out my night stand (another resolution for this year - organization!) I found a letter I had written to Anderson before he was born.
Since I don't want to lose it I decided to post it here. I'm not going to lie, I got a little teary eyed when I read it! How quickly I forgot all my emotions during pregnancy and I'm so happy I wrote him a letter back then.

Dear Anderson,

Today I am 37 weeks. You are now ready to be born into the world. It is up to you now on when you decide to make your grand appearance. We are so excited to meet you and see our beautiful son for the first time. I know I'm going to miss being pregnant. I have loved every minute of having you in my belly. I love feeling your movements, pokes, and nudges. I also love it when you get the hiccups. Those little ticks I feel remind me that you are practicing your swallowing and pretty soon you will be doing it perfectly. You have been the perfect baby in my belly. My pregnancy has been so easy! I have had no sickness, heartburn, trouble sleeping, etc.! The low back ache that I had went away after I saw the chiropractor. So, I can already say that you are making my life easy by being such a good son! Being a mother is something I've been preparing for my whole life. I'm not scared because I know you'll teach me and I'll learn as you grow. I know I will do my absolute best to protect you, teach you, and make you happy. You are going to bring so much joy into our lives that I can hardly wait! We are here waiting anxiously. You are already loved so much.

Love,
Mommy
