Fire Truck Play Date

This past Tuesday we had the monthly Dilworth toddler play date. It was held at Latta Park and they arranged for a fire truck to be there for all the kids to see up close. To say Anderson was excited is an understatement. I told him we'd be going to see a fire truck at the park and he could not stop asking all day when we were going. When we got to the park early to play he continued to ask where the fire truck was. When it finally arrived the squeals started and he could not run up the hill fast enough to go see the truck up close. The fire fighters were great and raised the ladder and let all the kids get a turn inside the truck.

I loved seeing his excitement for fire trucks and his day be made by such a simple play date. Maybe we have a future fire fighter on our hands? :)
